Wilhelmina has lived in the Cowichan Valley for over 30 years, raising her 2 sons, teaching fitness and working as a personal trainer. She has a passion for sport and fitness, playing on many competitive lacrosse and football teams over the years.
In 2018, following her passion for health and wellness she returned to school to become a massage therapist. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2020 and has maintained her Fitness & Personal Training certifications.
Wilhelmina is an intuitive therapist, she takes the time to listen to her patients and assesses their problems. The combination of maturity, intuition, clinical skills, life experience and personal training helps make Wilhelmina an amazing therapist. She is dedicated to improving the general well-being of every patient.
Her range of clinical techniques spans many different modalities. Wilhelmina uses a combination of deep tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, active release, myofascial release, trigger point release, stretching and strengthening exercises. She has the ability to transfer from deep to superficial massage as required. Relaxation techniques are also used to provide her patients with the most effective therapeutic treatments possible for a wide variety of ailments.
Wilhelmina is dedicated to growing her knowledge and will continue to pursue education and follow her passions. She has a special interest in Neurological disorders, Cranial Sacral, Lymphatic Therapy and Pelvic Health.
